Itinerary

Start with a visit to Prison Island, reached by boat from Stone Town, where you’ll tour the island and return for an evening of relaxation. Spend a full day exploring Stone Town on foot, visiting sites such as the House of Wonders, Old Fort, Palace Museum, Darajani Market, Freddie Mercury’s House, Forodhani Gardens, and the Old Slave Market and Anglican Cathedral. Continue to Nungwi, where you’ll visit the Baraka Natural Aquarium, enjoy a seafood lunch, relax on the beach at Kendwa, and take part in optional activities such as a dhow sunset cruise, shopping at local markets, or beach sports. Head east to Paje, with highlights including a visit to Kuza Cave, lunch at Swahili Fish Restaurant, a stop at the Rock Restaurant, and time to enjoy Paje Beach.
