Itinerary
Enjoy a memorable safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most visited wildlife reserve. Your adventure includes a game drive across the park’s open plains in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, and other iconic species. Visit the salt lake to witness age-old salt mining traditions, then take a leisurely boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, crocodiles, and spectacular birdlife. A perfect trip for an authentic taste of Uganda’s natural wonders.
Day 1 (Kampala to Queen Elizabeth NP)

Begin your day with an early wake-up, enjoy a morning breakfast at home.

At 7:00 am, your guide will pick you up, providing a brief overview before commencing the 7-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth.

Along the way, enjoy a few stopovers, including the equator for photographs and at Igongo Cultural Resort in Mbarara town for Lunch.

Continue your journey and arrive at Elephant Plains Lodge (Luxury) or Enshama Game Lodge (Mid-range) in the late afternoon.

Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2 (Exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park)

Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea, getting you ready for an exciting game drive on various trails within the park, with a special focus on the Kasenyi trail.

Along Kasenyi, enjoy the opportunity to spot a diverse array of animals, including waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs, and various bird species.

After the exciting game drive, visit the salt lake and return to your lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, delight yourself in a 2-hour boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. On this scenic boat cruise, marvel at the abundance of wildlife, such as hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, kobs, and a myriad of birds both on the banks and in the trees.

Close off your day with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Enshama Game Lodge.

Day 3 (Return Journey from Queen Elizabeth to Kampla)

Rise at 6:00 am to capture the beauty of the African sunrise and enjoy a delicious African breakfast.

Then check out of the lodge and start your return journey to Maya with a lunch stop along the way.

You will have a stopover at Kayabwe to buy some souvenirs.
