Itinerary
Enjoy a short yet immersive safari experience in Murchison Falls National Park, featuring two of its most iconic highlights. Begin with a visit to the Top of the Falls, where you’ll witness the raw power and beauty of the mighty Murchison Falls as the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge in a thunderous cascade. Then, embark on a guided game drive across the park’s northern savannah plains, where you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife in their natural habitat. This experience is perfect for travelers seeking a quick yet rewarding getaway into the wild, offering stunning scenery and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Day 1 (Kampala to MFNP)
- At 7:00 AM, your guide will pick you up and provide a briefing on your 2-day safari adventure.
- Embark on a 5-hour drive to Masindi making a stop at Court View Hotel for lunch.
- After lunch, continue with another 2-hour drive to the top of Murchison Falls National Park to witness the dramatic plunge of the Nile.
- End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at either Pakuba Safari Lodge or Nile Breeze Bamboo Lodge.
- Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2 (Game Drive, Return to Kampala)
- Wake up to a beautiful African sunrise and enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off on a morning game drive through the park.
- After the game drive, begin the return journey to Kampala, stopping for lunch and souvenir shopping along the way.
- Arrive in Kampala by evening, bringing your safari adventure to a close.
